This blend of classical and jazz over a funky half-time groove, depicts the magic of music making, transforming from idea to reality. The music stuck in my head wants to come out and play! It’s my constant companion:
“I’m never alone, never alone
There’s always a song tagging along!
I got music playing in my head
And it wants to be out instead
Singing la dee la dee da…”
Made for children and their families, this carefully crafted arrangement features sounds of the piano, harpsichord, cello (that’s my 10-year-old son, Darius!), clarinet, trumpet, upright bass, drums and even opera! And adding color throughout, are stacks of Lucys in a choir.
A delightful mix of strange, fantastical and wondrous fun that’ll get stuck in YOUR head!
