Arranged by Lucy Kalantari, the piece drifts in like a dream, with vocals and keyboard textures opening a space of wonder. It swells into a cinematic embrace as piano and strings intertwine, performed by Lucy and her 12-year-old son, cellist Darius Kalantari, carrying the listener from reflection to empowerment in the spirit of the trailblazers.

Crafted for an immersive listening experience in Dolby Atmos and mixed by Roger Montejano, “Trailblazing” surrounds the listener in sound that feels both intimate and expansive. The arrangement was featured in Lucy Kalantari’s Atmos Story Circle, a groundbreaking installation at the Children’s Museum of Manhattan powered by Genelec and Apogee, and highlighted at NAMM in conversations about the future of arranging music for children in immersive sound.
